With schools now closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, learning from home is now a reality for many parents, carers and children up and down the country. For most, this is a brand new experience and a complete life adjustment.
Many parents and carers will now be looking for resources to support home learning. OpenView Education has put together the top five FREE home learning resources available right now:
1. Khan Academy
Looking for schedules and routines during this time? Khan Academy is a non-profit organisation that focuses on providing free education for all. Khan Academy have created daily schedules for students aged 4 – 18. They also have Quick Start Guides for Parents/Carers looking for advice on structuring home based learning.
Twinkl host a whole range of learning resources, including Anti-Bullying and Internet Safety resources, essential for harmonious living in this time. During the Coronavirus outbreak, they have created School Closure Packs for all ages, and made these completely free of charge.
3. BBC Bitesize
BBC Bitesize have a huge library of learning activities, resources and interactive games. These are broken down into appropriate age groups and key stages. Access all their free resources now.

Let’s not forget about P.E, even if it is indoors! Joe Wicks, also known as The Body Coach, has committed to being the nation’s new P.E Teacher. Every Monday – Friday from 9am, Joe will lead a 30 minute exercise class live on his YouTube Channel, designed for little children, all the way through to Secondary School students.
