World Book Day Workshop – George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl (KS2)
In this interactive workshop your students will explore the story of George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl through drama.
Created specifically for your students in Upper Key Stage 2, your students will be up on their feet acting embodying the characters and exploring their feelings and emotions.
Your students will ignite their creativity and expression through performing unforgettable scenes from the story.
Your students will:
- Learn how we can bring characters to life using our body and our voice.
- Act out scenes from the story.
- Learn how we can perform in an engaging way with expression and intonation.
- Boost their enjoyment of stories, promoting the skill of reading for pleasure.

World Book Day Big Workshop – The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl (EYFS/KS1)
Bring Roald Dahl’s classic tale to life with an interactive workshop designed for EYFS and KS1 students.
Featuring engaging puppetry and guided by a professional performer, children will step into the story as they act out key scenes from The Enormous Crocodile.
This immersive experience sparks creativity and inspires a love of reading.
Your students will:
- Increase familiarity with a range of stories including fairy tales, myths and legends, and contemporary texts.
- Explore the thoughts and emotions of the characters in the story through drama.
- Practice speaking confidently and clearly using a range of expression.
- Watch a story brough to life by a professional performer and puppeteer.
