World Book Day Workshops
Our Storytelling Workshops for Primary Schools are perfect for celebrating World Book Day. These workshops will inspire your students' imaginations, and provide an interactive opportunity to explore popular childrens' stories in a new way.
We use Drama and Theatre techniques to explore the themes, characters and language of a story. Every storytelling workshop is delivered by a professional performer and includes masks, puppetry, music and role-play to bring the story to life.
Our Storytelling Workshops are inclusive, engaging and differentiated for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Students Will Learn:
-
The themes of the story.
-
The motivations and emotions of the characters.
-
Pronunciation of key vocabulary.
All of our Storytelling Workshops support Social and Emotional Learning by drawing out key lessons from the stories. This supports your students in developing:
-
Empathy
-
Self-awareness
-
Growth Mindset
-
Emotional Resilience
-
Mindfulness and Wellbeing
