Throughout February OpenView Education are visiting schools with our interactive e-safety workshops to mark the occasion for Safer Internet Day.
A big thank you to all the schools that have been sharing these workshops via Twitter. Here’s a snapshot of these fantastic workshops, and what the schools have to say:
This is us working with Year 6 at Staines Prep School. In this workshop students were learning about the terms and conditions of social media and how companies process our data:
#StainesPrepYear4, #StainesPrepYear5 and StainesPrepYear6 had great workshops with @openviewed looking at social media as part of our #SaferInternetDay activities. They were surprised at the age restrictions and what they do with your information! #StainesPrepListen #SID2022 pic.twitter.com/m84Z4XSJWw

Back at Staines Prep we also worked with year 2, the workshop covers online safety message in an interactive and engaging way for students in Key Stage 1:
#StainesPrepYear2 and #StainesPrepYear3 had fantastic workshops with @openviewed this week as part of our #SaferInternetDay activities. They looked at online gaming, how to recognise when something is suspicious and how to stay safe online. #StainesPrepListen #SID2022 pic.twitter.com/6cVBcqI9Yb
