OpenView Education provides theatre-based training, workshops and performances for schools.  All facilitators work in a solo capacity, leading interactive workshops, most often with one class at a time, or interactive, one-person Performances, sometimes for the whole school.

About this role:

The candidate has applied to be a Facilitator and Performer with OpenView Education.

OpenView Education Facilitators and Performers are required to:

• Learn scripts and content, preparing accordingly for each engagement.
• Greet the contact teacher on arrival in a polite and professional manner.
• Lead and explain interactive activities with the students.
• Deal with any unexpected challenges on the day (E.G Timetable changes)
• Set up a PowerPoint, props, and resources.
• Manage behaviour effectively.
• Be self-directed in terms of preparing, arriving at the school and setting up.
• Be flexible and adaptable depending on the students they are working with.
