Anti-Bullying Workshop

Speak Up, Stand Tall

This workshop is adapted to be suitable for all age groups. The students will learn what bullying is in all it’s forms. We then give students the practical skills for dealing with bullying through role-play situations and storytelling.

We are offering this workshop completely free for the first five schools that register their interest on the form below.

We use a Drama-based approach. This means the workshop is practical, interactive and involves getting the students up on their feet to learn in an enjoyable way.

Topics Covered:

  • WHAT IS BULLYING? (KS1/KS2)

We define the different kinds of bullying including verbal, physical & cyberbullying. We look at how this makes others feel and why students bully.

  • BODY LANGUAGE (KS2)

We will show the students how standing and walking confidently can protect them against being a target for bullying. We practice appropriate use of body language to tell someone to stop. And how to use your body to show that you need help.

  • PRACTICE LEAVING A BULLYING SITUATION (KS2)

The students practice and rehearse what they will do in a bully situation. Confidently saying ‘Leave me alone’ and walking away with their head high and shoulders back.

  • CONFIDENCE BUILDING AND MENTAL RESILIANCE (KS2)

How to feel confident and have a strong mental attitude if someone says unkind things to you.

  • CYBERBULLYING: SAVE IT, SHOW IT! (KS2)

How to deal with cyberbullying. What do to if you receive an upsetting message or email.

  • USING YOUR VOICE (KS1/KS2)

How to use your voice in an assertive and confident way in a bullying situation.

How to ask for help from a teacher in a confident and assertive way.
